The Foundation for Natural values of the Carpathian Basin was registered on September 4, 2001 in Gyula –one of the most famous spa towns in the Southern Great Plain (Dél-Alföld) of Hungary . After more than one and a half decades Gyula has grown into an international spa resort. It became a spa town.
The location of the Foundation was directly related to the water world of the Southern Plain, to the streams of the river Körös , to the immeasurable riches of ancient grasslands, deserts, lowland forests, floodplains and meadows formed by nature during millions of years.
The Foundationhas also establisheda new headquarter in Matra region aiming for further development of the consumption of vine grapes and fruit.
